Through arrangements made by the Legal Aid Society, Hunan Province Association of Prosecutors’ Vice President Lu Yue-Yun led a delegation of thirteen prosecutors to visit the Academy on August 2, 2017, whereby the visit lasted from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Members of the delegation included city and state attorneys of Hunan Province, Provincial Training Department Director, and Dean of the National Prosecutors College of P.R.C.’s Hunan Branch. The two sides conducted exchanges concerning issues such as pre-job training for judges and prosecutors and in-service training for prosecutors. The delegation was received by President Tsai Pi-Yu of the Academy, accompanied by Chief Secretary Yen Nai-Wei, Academic Affairs Department Chief Lu Hsiao-Yun, and Student Affairs Department Director Jiang Lin-Da. The Ministry of Justice’s Department of International and Cross-Strait Legal Affairs also appointed three prosecutors including Yang Wan-Li to join in discussions and exchanges. The visiting delegation was not only introduced to the Academy’s facilities, but a seminar was also held to facilitate interactions. The visit was conducted smoothly and successfully.
