The Academy for the Judiciary arranged for corporate and military technology educational visits for the 61st class of Judicial Officers

The Academy for the Judiciary, to enhance the diversity of the Judicial Officer’s nurturing education and to improve the professional knowledge of the trainees in various industries has organized a field trip for the 61st class of Judicial Officers to Chuan Lian Enterprise Co., Ltd’s Wuqi logistics facilities, the Aerospace Industrial Development Corp. and the 3rd Tactical Fighter Wing of the ROCAF on the 10th and 11th of March 2021, before the start of their course and their upcoming internship in the Executive branch.
On the first morning (March 10th) of the two-day and one-night visit, the Academy's President Tsai led the delegation of the trainees of the 61st Judicial Officer class and administrative staff to visit the Chuan Lian Enterprise Co., Ltd’s Wuqi logistics facilities. After a presentation on logistics by Mr. HU Chang-Hsi, Logistics and Assistant Vice President, he personally took the participants on a guided tour of the enterprise’s operations process, in which automatic logistics, storage speed and precise control of time operation process were introduced. The participants experienced first-hand how the logistics and storage system can control the receipt, storage, order picking and shipping processes through program computing, which improves the efficiency of manpower utilization by multiple times, just as what external circles refer to as “the TSMC of the logistics industry”. In the afternoon, we visited the AIDC Shalu Complex to learn about the civil airliner assembly line, the R&D and the manufacture of the new-style advanced jet trainer through time-lapse photography. Participants were able to understand the current situation of implementing self-reliant national defense and promoting the development of the defense industry.
The next day (March 11th), the participants visited the 3rd Tactical Fighter Wing of the ROCAF in Ching Chuan Kang, and were introduced to the mission of ensuring the safety of the Taiwan Strait by Major General TUNG Chung-Hsing, the Wing Commander, and were given a tour of the ROC Air Force Museum and the U.S. Air Force in Ching Chuan Kang AFB Footprint Museum. Finally, a group photo was taken in front of the themed aircrafts to mark the end of the 2-day field trip. The trainees were all positive about the course arrangement and had a fruitful experience.
