In response to the amendment of the Judges Act regarding the new system of selection of prosecutor investigators with attorney qualification to be transferred and appointed as prosecutors, to consult and deliberate the time-table of the training period, the Ministry of Justice held its fourth meeting on January 29, 2021, at the Academy. The meeting was presided over by the convener, Deputy Minister of Justice, TSAI Pi-Chung, with the participation of Prosecutor General, CHIANG Hui-Min of the Supreme Prosecutors Office, President TSAI Pi-Yu of the Academy, TSING Tai-Chao, Chief Prosecutor of the Taiwan High Prosecutors Office, LIN Chin-Tsun, Director of Prosecutorial Affairs, YU Chin-Chun, Personnel Office Director, Ministry of Justice and other committee members to jointly select Prosecutor Investigators for a training period of one year before appointment as Prosecutors; the meeting also approved the amendment to Article 6 of the Pre-Service Training Regulations for the selection of Prosecutors.
