On February 21, 2023, Mr. Wolfgang Gründler, Chief Public Prosecutor at the Prosecutor General's Office Bamberg, Germany, gave a lecture at the Academy

Due to the visits of Messrs. Wolfgang Gründler, Chief Public Prosecutor at the Prosecutor General's Office Bamberg, Germany, and Thomas Goger, Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor (Deputy Director of the Bavarian Central Office for the Prosecution of Cybercrime) to Taiwan, the Academy for the Judiciary, together with the Ministry of Justice, the Supreme Prosecutors Office, the Taiwan Law Society, and the Economic and Criminal Law Society organized the "Ministry of Justice 2023 Taiwan-German Prosecution Exchange Forum Series - STRATEGIC PROSECUTION TO RAPID EVOLVING CYBERCRIME " on February 21 and 22, 2023. The forum is aimed at facilitating the exchange of ideas with the academic and practical community in Taiwan and the German visitors.
On the afternoon of the forum’s first day (February 21), the Academy for the Judiciary arranged for a presentation entitled "The Structure of the German Public Prosecutor's Office and Cooperation between the Police and the Public Prosecutor", which was moderated by Prosecutor-General Tai-Chao HSING of the Supreme Prosecutors Office. Chief Public Prosecutor Gründler gave the keynote lecture; Assistant Professor Jung-Yi HSU from the Department of Financial Law of Ming Chuan University translated. Prosecutor-General HSING also participated in the discussion, exchanging views with Chief public prosecutor Gründler on the relationship between prosecutors and police and the supervision system for prosecutor’s duties.
Then, Prosecutors Chung-Lueh YAO of the Kaohsiung District Prosecutors Office and Tzu-Jung WU of the Tainan District Prosecutors Office respectively, who had previously done an internship at the Munich Public Prosecutor's Office I, Germany, were invited to share their insights on the similarities and differences between the German and Taiwanese prosecution system and ours, to provide valuable references for the improvement of Taiwan prosecution system.
All members of the 63rd Class of Judicial Officers participated in the forum, and 20 incumbent prosecutors also attended the event at the Academy.
