Chaired by President Tsai Pi-yu, the Symposium on Emerging Legal Issues for the 57th Judicial Class was held by the Academy on March 6, 2017. Professor Lin Yu-xiong from the College of Law, National University of Taiwan and Associate Professor Lin Yu-ting from the School of Law, Soochow University were invited as evaluators at the symposium, which was divided into criminal and civil sessions. They gave advice to and commented on reports written by class members Zhou Ya-qian and Liu Jian-liang on “Confiscation of Criminal Gains of Joint Principal Offenders – How to Confiscate When the Specific Distribution of Illegal Profits among Joint Principal Offenders Is Unclear” and “A Study of the Legal Relationship for Electronic Payment” respectively. Participating class members carried out enthusiastic discussions, learning a great deal from them.
