I. Mission and Vision

The core mission of the Academy for the Judiciary is to enhance and further judicial education. Judicial apprentices include those who have passed official examinations for judges and prosecutors administered by the Examination Yuan as well as a select number of practicing attorneys preparing to become prosecutors.

The Academy seeks to foster in judicial officials the core values integral to a constitutional government, cultivating officials who value democracy and freedom and understand the importance of the rule of law and human rights. Officials must possess professional knowledge, humanistic values, and ethical values as well as a broad perspective, a sense of responsibility, and a passion for justice.
