The Academy for the Judiciary, Ministry of Justice will hold an international webinar: Digital Era and Human Rights on July 6th, 2021.

The event invites Microsoft Assistant General Counsel Mary Jo Schrade to give a speech on Microsoft’s Legal Approach to Cybercrime: Repurposing Old Theories for the Digital Age. Assistant Professor Puma Shen from National Taipei University, Professor Yu-Hsiung Lin from National Taiwan University, Research Professor Wen-Tsong Chiou from Academia Sinica will give presentations on Social Media and Human Rights, Challenge in Investigation: Cloud Data, Digital Development and Privacy, respectively.

The event also invites Director Jennifer Chan from Facebook, Professor Mark A. Zöller from University of Munich, Deputy Attorney General Robrecht De Keersmaecker from Prosecutor-general‘s Office of Antwerp, Attorney Mayeul Hiéramente from FHM Law to participate in the webinar and share their expertise.
