The Academy held its 2019 reunion and anniversary ceremony at the auditorium of the Academy on February 15, 2019. Judges and prosecutors who finished their training program 20, 30 and 40 years ago respectively as well as the faculty and trainees for Class 16, 26 and 36 were invited to celebrate the Academy’s 64th anniversary. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Chu Shih-Yen, former president of class 26, mentors Wang You-Feng and Tsai Ching-Hsiang (current Minister of Justice), former president Hsieh Tsay-Chuan of Class 36, Lin Tsao-Song, former Director of Student Affairs, mentor Judge Chen Yu-Wan, Chang Guo-Chung, former president Chen, Guo-Cheng, Chief Prosecutor Chen, Hung-Ta and prosecutor Tsai, Jui-Tsung. The event was kicked off with the performance of the lion dance team of ShiDing High School. After the opening remarks but President Tsai Pi-Yu, former president Hsieh Tsay-Chuan, Class 26 representative Head Prosecutor Guo Chen-Ni and Class 36 representative Judge Wang Ben-Yuan all shared their fun stories at the Academy and their career experience after the Academy. The Academy compiled the photos from the photo albums from Class 16, 26 and 36 and made a video that also contained the Academy’s history to keep the attendants up to date with the Academy’s recentdevelopments and give them a chance to walk down the memory lane. The Academy also planned the “pass the torch” sky lantern event, where each guest wrote down their blessings and wishes on the lanterns before releasing them into the sky. Afterwards, everyone enjoyed lunch at the Academy restaurant to catch up with old teachers and fellow trainees. The third “pass the torch” drew to a successful close thanks to the hard work of every Academy member.
