Online Digital Courses for Soft Skills Launched in 2017

Follows the collection of "Ten-hour Courses for Civil Servants," the Academy for the Judiciary launches Soft Skills online courses on the Online Learning System of the Academy (https://ors.tpi.moj) in 2017.

The collection of Soft Skills online courses not only offer more options for the members and to relieve of the tension from the task, but also to dive into different feasts of learning as well as increasing the fun and the breadth of study.

The Academy hopes that members can be injected with positive energy to achieve the objective of boosting their soft competitiveness through these courses.

The collection of Soft Skills online courses are as follows:

1. "Emotion Management – How to Diffuse Negative Emotions in the Workplace"- by Huang Hwei-Shan, currently clinical psychologist and writer at bwhealth(health.businessweekly.com.tw)

The lecturer Huang indicated that proper management of emotions at the workplace could maintain physical and mental health also increase work efficiency. To relieve negative emotions with the "insight/mindfulness" technique could cut off the negative cycle of stress and anxiety and move forward in the delightful, relaxing and vigorous direction.

2."The Secret Music lists by Wang Shin-Chiang – Introduction to the Classical Music" – by Wang Shin-Chiang, producer and host of" Classical & Classics" of Philharmonic Radio Taipei Co., Ltd,

Following the interpretation by Wang Shin-Chiang, escaping from one's demanding work and taking a breather in the music, the listeners could find comfort in music, maintain physical and mental tranquility, as well as cultivate a life-long interest.

3."Crisis Communication and Speaking Skills" –by Simon Lin, professional lecturer at the Taipei Tech Extension, School of Continuing Education of National Taipei University of Technology

The course integrates lecturer's years of practical experiences in the area of crisis handling and communication with the media.

He uses a large number of cases to let current prosecutors and judges know the importance of crisis communication as well as acquire skills to respond severe case-related questions from the media.
