On February 2, 2016, the Academy for the Judiciary, Ministry of Justice held an opening ceremony for the 37th Probation Officer Class, hosted by President Tsai Ching-hsiang. President Tsai and the distinguished guest, Director You Ming-ren, Department of Prevention, Rehabilitation and Protection, Ministry of Justice delivered speeches respectively. They congratulated the trainees for passing the difficult national examination and entering the Academy for the 3-phase course lasting for 3 months. Trainees were encouraged to develop their expertise, apply technology and resources to enhance efficiency, master the communication skills, be enthusiastic and caring, and keep their integrity intact to become a competent and proud probation officer.
