In order to encourage more elite to join the research field of crime prevention and criminal policy, the Academy held the 5th Review Meeting for Outstanding Thesis Award on Crime Prevention Research on November 11, 2018. In this year, 29 participants with Master or Ph.D. degree competed for the award. After a fierce competition, 13 masters and 3 PhD have won awards, including 4 golds, 5 silvers and 7 bronzes, for their excellent researches on various topics. The topics include corruption prevention, correctional policy, drug crime, and domestic violence. These chosen researches will be uploaded on the website of “Crime Prevention Research Database” for the public to read. Also, to encourage those researchers, the Academy for the Judiciary has scheduled to hold an awarding ceremony in the “2018 Symposium on Criminal Policy and Crime Prevention Research” on December 11, 2018 and deputy Ministry of Justice will preside over it.
